Apple shipped 3.5 million smart hours in the second quarter of this year

Apple shipped 3.5 million smart hours in the second quarter of this year, a slight increase of 30 percent year-on-year, according to the Canalys report. Last year, the second quarter was the worst quarter of the year in terms of Apple markets, so this year's figures suggest that the third edition of Apple's hours has achieved better results than its predecessor.

However, competitors such as Fitbit and Garmin achieved strong performance in the second quarter, expanding their market share. Features such as heart rate measurement and smart coaching have helped these competitors achieve advanced results for their devices compared to the Apple watch. Although Apple shipped more hours, its overall market share fell to 34% from 43 in the first quarter.

In Asia, the third release of the LTE hours achieved good sales results, accounting for 60 percent of the total 250,000 units. Jason Low, chief analyst at Canalys, said in a statement to The Verge that Apple's offer came mainly through its decision to partner with mobile and telecommunications operators in Asia and Australia.
