HMD Global Removes the ability to hide the extrusion on your Nokia 6.1 Plus phone

The idea of LCD screens has become the dominant trend in smartphone markets, especially after Apple and Essential have added this idea to their devices.

Some HMD Global phones also have the feature of extrusion, but like other brands, the company has allowed users to hide the bump through software settings. However, this capability has recently been removed on the Nokia 6.1 Plus phone, according to the Nokia Community Forum.

A message appeared on the forum saying: "Unfortunately we had to remove the possibility of hiding the bump as required by Google" but the message was immediately deleted by one of the editors.

The move sparked controversy on the Internet, but Juho Sarvikas, head of product division at HMD Global, intervened. He published a tweet showing that the company was working on its latest touches to hide the bump on the Nokia 6.1 Plus phone.

The reason for removing the possibility of concealing the extrusion was not explained from the outset, but it seems that HMD will bring it back anyway.
