A wider car bag inside Toyota 's self - driving cars

Toyota will unveil its latest test of a self-driving vehicle at the CES Conference in Las Vegas. The TRI-P4 is designed by the Toyota Research Institute, the Silicon Valley automotive division, but the main update on the third version is to allow more space in the car bag.

Most 4-level self-contained cars have high-power computers. Which operate the deep learning algorithms used in the "See" program to distinguish the world around it, as well as capture and record every moment as the car moves. During this process the computers become hot, which requires a system of water cooling, which devour more space.

So Toyota's biggest challenge was to cut back on all the equipment and save space for a wider car bag.
