Lexar is working to return to the storage world

In 2017, Lexar, the world's leading storage company, announced it would discontinue sales throughout the year, but according to an announcement made by CameraJabber earlier this week, the company seems to be back in business as it prepares to produce and ship Flash storage units worldwide starting this fall.

"Lexar is dynamic, has excellent R & D capabilities and understands customers' needs deeply," Lexar CEO Huabo Cai said in a statement. "I am very excited to reintroduce Lexar products to customers around the world. At the same time, we are confident that we can successfully expand Lexar's business across the world. "

This is the first news we hear about Lexar since it was acquired by the new parent company Longsys, after Micron closed the brand in June 2017. At the moment, there is no clear details on whether there are any changes to the product range The company's products include a wide range of storage cards, card readers, SSD and USB flash drives.
