Twitter Lite reaches 21 new countries

Twitter has announced the launch of a light version of the Twitter Twitter application to 21 new countries. This version is designed to help those with slow connections use Twitter while saving the amount of data the main application may consume.

Argentina, Belarus, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Romania, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, Uruguay, Yemen and Zimbabwe.

This brings the total to 46 countries, including Algeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Malaysia, Nigeria, Nepal, Panama, Peru, the Philippines, Serbia, El Salvador, South Africa, Thailand, Tunisia, Tanzania and Venezuela.

This version aims to expand the application's feature set to ensure that some users do not exclude some of Twitter's most important features. For example, users can save tweets to see them later when the Internet connection becomes better.

Twitter Lite aims to minimize data usage, where you can turn on data provider mode to only download photos or videos you want to watch. The space is only 3 megabytes (MB) and is very small compared to the main application. If you have an OLED phone, using the night mode will save you a lot of battery consumption, and it will also reduce damage to your eyes.
