The Amazon e-commerce giant has launched a new step in the competition with Netflix, although the company already has a rival platform, Amazon Prime Video, but this time it chose to launch a free platform.
Amazon has the famous online movie database IMDb, a huge database of movies, series, television shows, entertainment and video games on the Internet, and has launched a new platform of its own.
The new platform, which will be a real competitor to Netflix, will be named "Freedive" offering a large number of popular and classic Hollywood movies and series in a free way similar to the YouTube video platform, where the content will be supported by advertising. Unfortunately, the platform is currently only available in the United States.
